The Sales Account Executive will identify new business, renew existing business, negotiate contracts, and onboard new customers. You will have the opportunity to independently negotiate with high-level players in the industry - and will learn and grow in a unique, innovative work environment.
This position is 100% remote!
Responsibilities:
- Manage all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Responsible for meeting monthly revenue goals through generating new business, through research, cold calling into an assigned global territory of companies, as well as retaining existing business and upgrading packages.
- Provide demos, presentations, and training to clients via Microsoft Teams or in-person sales calls.
- Attend trade shows to identify business opportunities, develop leads, and meet with decision-makers to obtain customer commitment and facilitate delivery of virtual event value.
- Focused sales efforts, a strong understanding of Chati products and business model, and a larger awareness of the overall trends in the virtual and hybrid event environment.
- Think creatively and implement unique solutions for client's marketing initiatives.
- Actively work in a close team environment with other sales executives, while also keeping close relationships with other departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (or extensive industry sales experience)
- Event Tech Industry Experience is preferred
- Minimum of two years of B2B SaaS sales experience is required
- 1-3 years virtual event and webinars sales experience
- Minimum of one year with active outbound prospecting
- Understand the calendar fiscal year, budgeting, and planning cycles
- Strong written and verbal skills, along with strong relationship building a must
- Experience with Salesforce and/or other CRM database applications is strongly preferred
- Ability to manage pipeline and forecast sales
- Passion for business development and sales
- Strong negotiation skills - required
