The Production Manager must be an experienced, take charge professional with ability to manage virtual events in support of production management. They must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision. The Production Manager should have experience and a keen interest in virtual event management, providing outstanding customer service showing enthusiasm and building relationships with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:
- Create and manage virtual events
- Manage the initial process of working with a client when a sale has been secured
- Setup and maintain a project management tool for internal use and client use
- Organize and conduct the kick-off call with the client(s) and the necessary team members (i.e. production, creative, marketing, development)
- Understand the scope of the contract
- Setup the agenda for the call; review contract components, discuss necessary elements, and address client questions, schedule Recurring planning calls
- With the understanding of the client contract, establish the vision, scope, and branding elements for the event
- Provide detailed documents, processes, and timelines to guide the client in providing content
- Become fluent and knowledgeable in the virtual platform, webcasting platform, and CMS to provide guidance, examples, and options for each phase of the production and creative aspects for the event
- Manage staff assigned to virtual events
- Work with the creative director to ensure the creative aspects of the event are being managed timely
- Work with the development director to ensure the development aspects of an event are being managed timely
- Event microsites/registration pages
- QC virtual events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (significant work experience can substitute for the degree).
- 3-5 years’ experience coordinating virtual events, physical events or conferences
- Proven experience leading the development and execution of virtual events.
- Virtual event platform experience (i.e. Intercall, 6Connex, ON24, vFairs, PlatformQ)
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills: experience working across multiple organizations, executive leadership, and external agencies to manage event strategy.
- Excellent organizational skills, including project management, multitasking, time management, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision.
- PC – Windows – fundamental understanding
- Microsoft suite (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience
- Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Oracle Eloqua
